Ah, Bali… this is the one place that people are always itching to come back to. Sure, there are plenty of amazing beaches around the world, but Bali is more than that—the culture and the people are what make it even more magical. Now that you’re here, what can you do? Let’s make a list!
- Visit Magnificent Temples: There are many temples in Bali, but you can start with Pura Tempuyang, Pura Ulun Danu Beratan, Pura Tanah Lot, Pura Tirta Empul, Pura Luhur Uluwatu, and Pura Besakih, to name a few. Remember to wear modest clothing and follow the rules, as the temple is a holy place.
- Spend Time on the Nusa Islands: Off the east coast of Bali, you’ll find Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Penida, and Nusa Ceningan. The breathtaking views you see all over social media are even more amazing in real life. We can assure you that you won’t be able to stop taking pictures!
- Explore Ubud and Indulge in Wellness Experiences: World-famous for its myriad yoga studios and healthy restaurants, Ubud is simply the place to nourish your body and soul. Take a yoga class or meditation retreat, eat all the organic food, shop in the markets, or simply daydream while overlooking the beautiful rice terraces. “Eat, Pray, Love” your way throughout your stay.
- Café-Hopping and Dining in Trendy Areas: Seminyak and Canggu are the places to see and be seen. Filled with excellent coffee shops, bakeries, and fine dining establishments, the only problem you’ll have is making room in your stomach. And don’t pass on the local joints—experience the authentic local food. Just be mindful not to get a stomachache from eating too much sambal!
- Explore Nature—This Is a Must!: Go swim in the ocean, spend time on sandy beaches, hike the mountains, see the waterfalls, dive, and snorkel. There are so many activities to choose from, but make sure to pick at least one to connect with the island and its magnificent beauty.
- Party!: The island is also filled with gorgeous beach clubs and a lively nightlife. World-famous DJs and great local talent are regulars at the clubs. There are festivals and concerts too. Make sure to check out the dates on their social media so you can plan your vacation around them.
- Do Nothing: That’s right, just relax and be selfish with your time. Live the slow life to the fullest. Bali is filled with luxurious hotels and affordable villas—just stay in your place and waste the day away. And don’t forget the spa; a 2-hour Balinese massage is a must!
